Greek Cypriot Civil Defence: No Damage or Injuries Reported in Paphos Earthquake
Greek Cypriot Civil Defence spokesperson Panagiotis Liasidis said no damage or injuries were reported following the earthquake centred in Paphos.
Liasidis stated that immediately after the quake, the Civil Defence coordinated with local councils, police, and fire departments.
He noted that there were reports of minor landslides but said these did not pose any serious threat.
Liasidis added that the Civil Defence remains in constant contact with the Geological Survey Department and that all personnel and volunteers are on standby in case intervention becomes necessary.
