Trial of Two Greek Cypriot Defendants Adjourned to 9 December
The trial of two Greek Cypriot defendants at the İskele District Court has been adjourned to 9 December. The defendants, A.K. (M-60) and A.K. (F-60), appeared before the court again yesterday as proceedings continued.
In previous hearings, the prosecution withdrew charges of “trespassing on property” and “causing public nuisance” brought against five defendants, leading to their release from those accusations.
However, the two remaining defendants continue to face charges of “violating the Personal Data Protection Law” and “infringing privacy,” with the case ongoing as of yesterday’s session.
Separately, it was noted that the defendants who were tried at the Nicosia Military Court on charges of “violating a military restricted zone” have been acquitted.
