Deputy Prime Minister, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu stated that there is great suffering both in the TRNC and in Turkey.

Minister of Public Works and Transport, Erhan Arıklı, said that it was the first time that the Turkish Cypriots experienced such great pain after 1974, emphasizing that the disaster was the greatest of centuries, not of the century.

We will quickly build and send the temporary houses to be built with our efforts. We have become a broad platform where 47 organizations unite. We plan to make the first shipment within 10 days.
