TATAR: “THIS PAIN CANNOT BE OVER…”

Making statements in a private broadcast, President Ersin Tatar said, "This pain cannot end, I wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to the injured."

President Tatar said, “Turkish Cypriots feel this pain from their heart. The martyrdom of GTMK students there added to our pain. I wish patience to their families. We have always stood by the people there with the Coordination Committee and the Council of Ministers, with the contact we established with Adıyaman from the first hours, with the search and rescue teams, health professionals and volunteers, but unfortunately we lost our people. Our hearts are in the earthquake zone.” used the phrases.

USTEL: “OUR HISTORY IS ONE OF OUR PAIN…”

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, on the other hand, said, “Our history is one pain… We started to take measures through consultations, making an extraordinary effort from the moment the sad news came. "Unfortunately, we could not save our children alive," he said.

Prime Minister Üstel said, "Our pain has grown even more when we look at the Republic of Turkey."

“We sent aid to our homeland, both in terms of food aid and financial aid. We started to work on how we can keep the memory of our children alive. We worked to build an indoor sports field and to build a monument in their memory. In order to keep the name of our 'Champion Angels' alive, we requested a place from Turkey to build a living house there.”

“I wish God's mercy to everyone who lost their lives in the earthquake, and a speedy recovery to the injured. May God give strength to the motherland," he said.

ATAOĞLU: “PEOPLE MADE A COMPETITIVE EFFORT TO HELP”

Deputy Prime Minister, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu stated that there is great suffering both in the TRNC and in Turkey.

Explaining that people are making a competitive effort to help, Ataoğlu said that they are trying to be a balm for the wounds of citizens in their homeland of Turkey.

Reminding that non-governmental organizations have taken action both to keep the names of children alive and to help citizens in their homeland of Turkey, Ataoğlu pointed out the importance of the step taken by the Turkish Cypriot Solidarity Platform and said that it will continue.

ARIKLI: "DISASTER OF THE CENTURIES, NOT THE CENTURY..."

Minister of Public Works and Transport, Erhan Arıklı, said that it was the first time that the Turkish Cypriots experienced such great pain after 1974, emphasizing that the disaster was the greatest of centuries, not of the century.

Noting that it is not possible to intervene in such a wide geography, Arıklı explained that the team that made the earliest intervention was his team.

Stating that the Turkish Cypriot people ran for the second time to support the homeland after the Anatolian national struggle, Arıklı stated that there was a period in which the national unity of the Turkish Cypriots took off.

ERHÜRMAN

Tufan Erhürman, Chairman of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP), stated that the pain was great and said that the Turkish Cypriot people acted in great solidarity from the first hour of the earthquake.

Explaining that a great effort has been made both in Turkey and in Turkey, Erhürman said, “None of them relieves our pain or brings back our losses, but it was what we could do. This solidarity was carried out at a high level. We came together this evening for an extension of this solidarity. "I find this very important because this is a civil society movement," he said.

FEYZİOĞLU

Metin Feyzioğlu, Turkey's Ambassador to Nicosia, said that there was a terrible tragedy and that we survived by holding on to each other.

Feyzioğlu said, “I felt once again that we are and will always be the same nation. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Turkish Cypriot people. This is an amazing example of solidarity. On the one hand, it is a great effort to heal Turkey's wounds, and on the other hand, it is an attempt beyond any appreciation that will immortalize our angels."

Feyzioğlu, who stated that the Turkish nation will overcome this disaster, said that the TRNC will be clamped and Turkey will be the largest in the world.

He stated that it was the state that provided the aid.

KAMACIOĞLU: “WE WILL BUILD AND SEND TEMPORARY HOUSING FAST”

Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (KTSO) President Ali Kamacıoğlu said, “We saw that there would be a housing problem after the earthquake and this idea emerged. We will quickly build and send the temporary houses to be built with our efforts. We have become a broad platform where 47 organizations unite. We plan to make the first shipment within 10 days. Hopefully, we will be a balm for earthquake victims. This issue showed what Turkish Cypriots can do together," he said.
