Tatar: MPs Who Once Declared ‘The Federation File Is Closed’ Now Support Erhürman
9 days ago | President Ersin Tatar criticised certain former coalition MPs for declaring support for CTP’s presidential candidate Tufan Erhürman, describing it as political inconsistency. Speaking on Kıbrıs Postası TV’s Sabah Postası programme, Tatar pointed out that the two-state solution approach was first introduced into a government programme seven years ago, and some of the MPs now backing Erhürman were the same individuals who then endorsed the policy declaring the federation option as closed.
