The Police Press Officer announced that 4 fires and 44 special service incidents occurred in the country between 13-19 March. It has been reported that approximately 201 thousand 500 TL of damage occurred as a result of the fires.

In the statement of the Fire Brigade Directorate, possible causes of the aforementioned fires were stated as short circuits and as a result of the fire, which was lit by an unknown person or persons for cleaning purposes, out of control.
