Pharmacists' Union: We Support the Judiciary in Every Stage of Prescription Fraud
In a statement regarding the prescription fraud that has stirred public outrage, the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists' Union emphasized their support for the judiciary in every stage of the investigation. They declared that their stance on this matter would persist.
The statement from the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists' Union reads as follows:
"As the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists' Union, we want to emphasize that from the beginning of the investigation into prescription fraud, as we have repeatedly stated in the public, we stand by the judiciary in every stage of the investigation.
For our members who are part of the investigation, currently before the judiciary or will be in the coming days, if applicable, and who have been suspended from their positions within the authorized bodies of the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists' Union, we would like to inform the public that we will continue to take a definitive stance in accordance with professional ethics and deontology throughout the investigation period."
