In the ongoing investigation regarding the "fake prescription fraud," former Prime Minister and Speaker of the Republic, Dr. Sibel Siber, and pharmacist Gizem Karagözlü, who were initially arrested, have been presented in court again.
Upon hearing the facts during the court session, it was decided that the defendants would face trial without detention, provided they meet certain bail conditions.
Dr. Sibel Siber and pharmacist Gizem Karagözlü had previously been brought before Nicosia District Court on Friday, and a 3-day detention order was issued in connection with the investigation.
