Expressing his concern about internal discussions that develop merely for the sake of opposition without considering the country's best interests, Üstel stated that such baseless statements both feed the Greek Cypriot lobby's negative propaganda and lead to unjust news against the country.

Asserting that the TRNC is not without support, Üstel underscored that the government closely monitors all developments in the real estate sector and conducts a strong and determined fight against crime and money laundering.

Üstel mentioned that during his tenure as the Minister of the Interior, he took the first step to ensure that applications for property acquisition by foreigners were made electronically. This system provided a reliable environment for foreigners to apply for property acquisition and facilitated the registration process.

Addressing the economic aspects of property sales, Üstel pointed out that the TRNC's real estate market attracts buyers due to various advantages, such as the country's peaceful and secure environment. He highlighted that the legal system of the TRNC contributes to this appeal by providing a sense of security to buyers.

Refuting claims of secret occupation or activities, Üstel assured that all property-related activities are entirely under the control of the state. He further stated that a new law proposal regarding property acquisition and long-term leasing is in its final stages, and the government will provide comprehensive information to the public soon.

While expressing sensitivity toward the protection of agricultural and forest lands, Üstel mentioned ongoing efforts to complete a study addressing these concerns. Finally, he criticized the previous government, particularly the CTP administration, for being responsible for the chaos in the real estate sector and failing to make necessary legal regulations related to both agriculture and inspections.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Üstel emphasized that the TRNC is not without guardianship, and the government is taking effective measures to address the challenges in the real estate sector and ensure the sustainable development of the country.
