Power Outage Halts Flights at Ercan Airport, Including Minister Arıklı's Plane
Flights at Ercan Airport came to a halt as the air traffic control system went offline due to an electrical issue. The plane, including Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, could not take off due to the problem.
In a statement to Kıbrıs Postası, Arıklı mentioned that the generator issue had been resolved, and he received information that the plane would take off shortly.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel is also reported to be at Ercan Airport, awaiting his flight. No official statement has been made regarding when flights will resume after resolving the electrical problem."
