Erhan Arıklı: Hundreds of Passengers Stranded
Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı spoke to BRT regarding the electrical problem at Ercan Airport.
Arıklı, who was stranded on the plane due to the failure of the generator in the old terminal building, stated, "Hundreds of passengers were stranded... Prime Minister is also at the airport. Whether it is a technical failure or sabotage done by human hands, we will investigate."
Arıklı pointed out that Prime Minister Ünal Üstel was also at Ercan Airport to go to Ankara. He said, "Whether it is a technical failure or sabotage done by human hands, we will investigate." Arıklı emphasized that they would conduct an examination and gave the necessary instructions.
