Traffic Controls: 1,655 Drivers Checked, 24 Vehicles Impounded
In nationwide traffic controls conducted by the police, 1,655 vehicle drivers were checked, and 24 vehicles were impounded.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, a total of 1,655 vehicle drivers were checked during traffic controls conducted throughout the country.
As a result of these checks, 352 vehicle drivers were reported for various traffic offenses, including 138 for speeding, 14 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 2 for driving without a license, 10 for driving without navigation license, 45 for using a mobile phone while driving, 18 for not wearing a seatbelt, 3 for driving without insurance, and 122 for other traffic violations. Legal proceedings were initiated against them, and 24 vehicles were impounded.
