Minister Tunç expressed that Turkey will never leave the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus alone and emphasized the importance of justice in the face of the tragic event.

Minister Tunç met with the Minister of Interior, Dursun Oğuz, and his delegation at the Ministry of Justice.

Expressing deep sorrow for the incident, Tunç said, "There were 65 people in that hotel, 35 of whom were citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Evidence was collected during the debris removal. These pieces of evidence were taken for expert examination. Core samples and samples from other buildings were examined by experts. The case has now been filed based on the report received from the university."
