TRNC Witnesses 5 Fires and 20 Incidents in a Week
Over the past week in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), there has been an occurrence of 5 fires and 20 incidents, accumulating an estimated damage cost of around 604,000 TL.
From December 3 to December 10, these incidents varied from electrical short circuits and cooking-related fires to vehicle accidents resulting in fires.
The fire department responded not only to extinguish fires but also to rescue animals, extract individuals from various predicaments, provide fire prevention measures and training, and ensure road safety. The diversity of incidents underscores the challenges addressed by emergency services during this timeframe.
