Gürcafer: Interest in Projects in Northern Cyprus Exploited to Peddle Dreams to Turkish People
President of the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Association (KTİMB), Cafer Gürcafer, has warned that some individuals are exploiting the interest in projects in Northern Cyprus, trying to sell dreams to the Turkish people by misrepresenting these projects.
He emphasized the importance of vigilance among the Turkish people regarding projects marketed in Turkey related to Northern Cyprus. Gürcafer urged individuals to approach the KTİMB or the authorities in Northern Cyprus to verify the legitimacy of any project before making any payments.
In his statement, Cafer Gürcafer said:
"Some individuals are exploiting the interest in projects in Northern Cyprus to peddle dreams to the Turkish people by misrepresentation. The Turkish people should be vigilant about projects marketed in Turkey related to Northern Cyprus! Through our research, we have determined that these projects have not obtained approval from the planning authorities or made any attempts to obtain approval. Therefore, we strongly advise individuals not to make any payments for projects in Northern Cyprus marketed in Turkey or through social media platforms without first contacting the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Association or the authorities in Northern Cyprus to verify the legitimacy of the project."
