Özersay: We Filed Complaint with Police Against MP for Allegedly Using Fake Diploma
People's Party (HP) leader Kudret Özersay has leveled accusations against a parliamentarian, alleging that the individual obtained a fraudulent diploma and proceeded to utilize it. Özersay disclosed that they have formally submitted a complaint letter to the Police General Directorate regarding this matter, alongside furnishing all pertinent documentation for investigation.
In his social media statement, Özersay expressed confidence in the police's commitment to thoroughly investigate the issue and bring clarity to it expeditiously.
However, he refrained from divulging specific details at this juncture to safeguard the integrity of the ongoing inquiry.
Stressing adherence to the tenets of the Penal Code, Özersay asserted that irrespective of their parliamentary status, anyone found culpable of such a criminal offense must face prosecution and serve the prescribed penalty. Furthermore, Özersay assured that his party would actively monitor developments surrounding the case.
