Police officer Oytunç Özbaylı from the Financial Crimes Unit testified under oath in court. The police stated that Şenol Kovancı issued an invoice worth 41,000 TL for the Fat Duck establishment to the university without providing any services, attempting to obtain unjust gain.

The police also mentioned that Kovancı received 55,000 pounds (750,000 TL) to withdraw from the university's land purchase deal, which was considered fraudulent money acquisition.

The police stated that the investigation is ongoing and requested a two-day detention for the suspect Şenol Kovancı.
