Expressing dismay over the association of higher education with fake diplomas, Minister Oğuz stressed that while errors are inherent to human nature, individuals who engage in criminal activities must face the consequences of their actions. He firmly asserted that the government's primary purpose is to serve the people and ensure that those who err are held accountable.

Regarding speculations suggesting the halting of the fake diploma investigation, Minister Oğuz refuted such claims, affirming that political will has not obstructed the investigation's progress. He cited Prime Minister Ünal Üstel's commitment to seeing the investigation through to its conclusion as evidence of the government's dedication to justice. Oğuz reiterated that individuals found guilty of wrongdoing will face appropriate penalties.

Oğuz emphasized that the government and the National Unity Party (UBP) exist to serve the interests of the public, underlining the importance of identifying and addressing any shortcomings. He assured that no individual would receive preferential treatment, and the investigative process is being conducted with utmost sensitivity.

Reflecting on the significance of the investigation, Oğuz stated that it should serve as a cautionary tale for all parties involved. He stressed the need for establishing robust oversight mechanisms to prevent similar issues in the future and safeguard the integrity of the higher education sector.

In conclusion, Minister Oğuz reiterated the government's commitment to upholding the country's reputation and ensuring that justice prevails. He emphasized that addressing the country's challenges requires collective efforts, and individuals found culpable will face legal repercussions.
