Turkey's Ambassador: Security of TRNC and Turkish Cypriots Entrusted to Turkey under International Law
Turkey's Ambassador to Nicosia, Metin Feyzioğlu, announced the conclusion of a high-level meeting to evaluate developments in the region led by President Ersin Tatar. He stated, "The security of the TRNC and Turkish Cypriots is entrusted to the Republic of Turkey according to international law."
Feyzioğlu continued, praising President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's leadership as exemplary globally and highlighting Turkey's commitment, under Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's direction, to peace efforts in the region and ending the ongoing violence in Gaza.
He emphasized the cooperation between the TRNC President and Prime Minister Üstel's government in safeguarding the legitimate interests of Turkish Cypriots with the support of Turkey.
