Şahali highlighted that the matter was previously discussed in the parliament, where Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz stated that inquiries had been made to Turkey regarding the issue, awaiting a response. Since October 2020, a total of 15 individuals, identified with codes G82 and N82, have reportedly been barred from entering Turkey.

Expressing concern over the lack of transparency regarding the criteria for denying entry and the identities of those affected, Şahali emphasized the importance of informing the public about the reasons behind these decisions. He particularly noted that among the banned individuals, there is even a former member of parliament.

Critiquing the absence of the Interior Minister from the current parliamentary session, Şahali called for urgent clarification on the matter. He urged Prime Minister Ünal Üstel to address the issue in the upcoming parliamentary session scheduled for Monday, stressing that this issue cannot be further delayed.

Responding to Şahali's concerns, Economy and Energy Minister Olgun Amcaoğlu assured that he would convey the demands to the Prime Minister and the relevant authorities.

The demand for clarity on the circumstances surrounding the denial of entry to TRNC citizens remains a pressing issue, underscoring the need for transparency and accountability within the government's policies.
