In his statement, Erhürman said:

"The government's 'Eid al-Adha gift: Lamb meat for 550 TL'

It has been 12-13 days since this news. Today, butchers gathered. The association president said they were 'forced to sign the protocol' and apologized to the butchers. The butchers demanded the withdrawal of the decree fixing the price of lamb meat at 550 TL. It's the same old story. First, announce the 'good news,' make headlines in the newspapers, then mess everything up.

Before imposing a price, you should have made the necessary consultations, and now you've ended up in a 'government' position that can't even enforce the set price. Fall, so that no one in this country has any trust left in anything. Then sit down and think about how the economy will decline when the euro is 35 TL. Don't mention concepts like 'price control' or 'making the market cheaper' again. Whatever you do, don't give any 'good news'!"
