Üstel Affirms Commitment to Isias Hotel Case: "We Stand Firmly Behind Our Collective Cause"

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has issued a statement regarding the Isias Hotel case, affirming, "We stand firmly behind our collective cause and all the promises we have made."

Prime Minister Üstel traveled to Istanbul to receive updates on the latest developments in the Isias Hotel case. He will meet with teams from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Istanbul tomorrow before departing for Adıyaman.

"We stand firmly behind our collective cause. We stand firmly behind all the promises we have made. I hope that the legal proceedings will be completed soon, and justice will prevail," stated Prime Minister Üstel, expressing full confidence in the Turkish justice system.

During a press briefing, Prime Minister Üstel was accompanied by Undersecretaries of the Prime Ministry Berhan Ongan and Hüseyin Cahitoğlu.

ÜSTEL: OUR QUEST FOR JUSTICE CONTINUES

Speaking at Ercan Airport, Prime Minister Üstel remarked, "As we all know, our search for justice continues for the children we lost in the earthquake tragedy. We have stated that this case is the case of the TRNC. We have all said that it is our collective cause, and we are acting in accordance with our word."

Üstel emphasized that they closely monitor the processes and continue to contribute to the legal proceedings as a government. He recalled the initial trial being followed in Adıyaman and numerous meetings held with legal teams. He highlighted the visits of the Turkish team to the TRNC and the monitoring of developments.

Pointing out the recent visit of the parliamentary delegation to Ankara to observe the proceedings, Üstel mentioned their involvement in facilitating the preparation of expert reports. He underscored the dedication of himself, the Prime Ministry team, and the Parliamentary Committee to tirelessly work on this case.

"WE WILL ALSO ATTEND THE SECOND TRIAL WITH A WIDE DELEGATION"

Üstel noted that nearly 100 team members were brought to Adıyaman for the first trial under the coordination and contributions of the Prime Ministry. He announced that a wide delegation would attend the second trial scheduled for April 26.

"As the Prime Minister and the Prime Ministry, we have done whatever necessary for the follow-up and conduct of a trial. We have been where we need to be, and we will continue to be," emphasized Üstel.

Prime Minister Üstel mentioned his trip to Istanbul today to receive updates on the Isias case and the latest reports. He reiterated their unwavering support for the families and their commitment to the collective cause and promises made.

"We have never left our families alone for a single day, and we will continue not to do so. I want you to know that we stand behind our collective cause and all the promises we have made. I hope that the legal proceedings will be completed soon, and justice will prevail," concluded Prime Minister Üstel, expressing his full trust in the Turkish justice system.
