Thenewtermpresident of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) was determined through the election carried out at the 8th Annual General Assembly Meeting held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) with the participation of fifty countries. The winner of the three-can did a teel ection was Dr. Natalia Ciobanu from Moldova.
The 6th Global Healthcare Travel Forum and Conference washosted by the Turkish Republic of NorthernCyprus (TRNC) and the 2024-2026 term president who will preside the 56 member countries of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) wasdetermined at the8th Annual General Assembly held with in the scope of the Global Healthcare Travel Forum and Conference (GHTF2024). The Forum was hel dwith the participation of the delegates of the member countries of the GHTC and Germany, the Saudi Arabia and Moldova competed for the 8th Term Presidency. Moldova winningtheelection, receivedtheTermPresidencyFlag,togetherwithfrom; TRNCDeputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, whoserved as the Chairman of the High Advisory Board of the Global Healthcare Travel Council in the 2023-24 (April) period, and, theTRNCDeputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, whoserved as GHTC 7th Term President of 56 countries on behalf of the Turkish Republic of NorthernCyprus (TRNC) in the 2023-24 (April) period.

While 25 main speaker sattended the forum sessions where the Future of Global Health Tourism, Health and Sustain able Development Goals, Travel for Health, Health Services and Climate Change, Health Services and Technologies, Wellness and Wellbeing, Health Tourism and Advanced Active Life were discussed, through out the conferencesessions, morethan 150 articlesco-authored by morethan 500 researchers were presented, 22 of whom were key note speakers.

B2B meeting swereal soheld withint hescope of GHTF2024. At themeetings, managers of organizations providing health and health tourism services from Turkiye and Northern Cyprus came together with health tourism professionals from different parts of the world, especially from GHTC member countries, and signed mutual cooperation agreements.
