Turkish VP Cevdet Yılmaz to Visit Northern Cyprus
Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is set to embark on a one-day visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) tomorrow.
According to a statement released by the Turkish Presidency, Yılmaz's itinerary includes meetings with TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and attendance at a briefing session on the Güzelyurt Cold Storage Integrated Facility.
During his visit, Yılmaz will gather information and conduct inspections on the progress of the facility's construction and the Güzelyurt Hospital.
He will also tour the "Closed Varosha" region, which began a gradual reopening four years ago following a decision by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Wrapping up his visit, Yılmaz will engage with Turkish Cypriot citizens in Famagusta.
