Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Expected
The Meteorology Department has forecasted scattered heavy rain and thunderstorms for this afternoon, with temperatures expected to rise to 41 degrees Celsius in inland areas in the coming days.
The department released a weather forecast report covering the period from July 25 to 31.
According to the report, the country will initially be influenced by a cool and humid air mass in the upper atmosphere, followed by a hot and relatively humid air mass in the subsequent days.

The highest temperatures will range between 38-41 degrees Celsius inland and 35-38 degrees Celsius on the coast.
Winds will generally blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong.
