  4. The council reiterated its support for a comprehensive societal agreement in Syria that includes all parties and stated that it would resist provocations aimed at disrupting the historical friendship between the two peoples. It emphasized that eradicating terrorist threats from Syrian territory is crucial for Syria's interests and survival.

  6. The MGK underscored that Turkey's Peace Operation in Cyprus, carried out within the framework of international treaties and its guarantor status, has ensured peace, security, and stability on the island for half a century. The council reaffirmed its commitment to resolving the Cyprus issue based on the sovereign equality and equal international status of the Turkish Cypriot people, advocating for a two-state solution and the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as an equal member of the international community.

  7. The council emphasized Turkey’s constructive approach to issues in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean, asserting that it will not allow its rights and interests to be compromised.

  8. Developments in the war in Ukraine and recent diplomatic efforts were discussed. The council called for increased sincere efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace before the conflict escalates and spreads further.
