In his speech, Üstel expressed gratitude to the people of Güzelyurt for their warm reception despite the hot weather, highlighting the special place Güzelyurt holds in the heart of the UBP. He reassured the community that the government is committed to addressing their needs with stability and determination.

Üstel highlighted the administration's efforts to improve public welfare since taking office, focusing on reforms and support for various sectors such as industry, agriculture, tourism, and commerce. He noted that the Güzelyurt-Lefke road, which started in 2013, was completed under their administration, attributing previous delays to unstable governments.

Regarding the water supply project from Turkey to the TRNC, Üstel announced that the final stage for the Güzelyurt section is expected to be completed by the end of the year, ensuring that both citrus farmers and those involved in agriculture will benefit from water supplied by Turkey.

Üstel also addressed the investments in Güzelyurt, emphasizing that the region will remain a district of the TRNC despite being a subject of negotiation in peace talks. He mentioned that the government has taken steps to complete the Güzelyurt Hospital and provided financial resources to ensure its timely completion. Additionally, he highlighted the administration's efforts to support the citrus industry and the construction of a cold storage facility in the region.
