Ünal Üstel: "Target 2027, No Stopping, Continued Service"
Prime Minister and leader of the National Unity Party (UBP), Ünal Üstel, reaffirmed his commitment to service at a certificate ceremony in Lefke, stating, "Target 2027, no stopping, continued service." Üstel addressed a large crowd at the event, emphasizing his government's dedication to fulfilling promises.
During his speech, Üstel highlighted the government’s focus on healthcare, particularly the renovation of Cengiz Topel Hospital in Lefke. He stated, "We prioritized healthcare in Lefke, as we did across the country, and have completed the necessary upgrades at Cengiz Topel Hospital to provide better service to the people of the region." He also acknowledged ongoing investments in the hospital, ensuring continued improvements.
In response to criticism regarding Lefke's district status, Üstel reminded the crowd, "It was the UBP government that made Lefke a district, and no one should forget that it is also the UBP governments that have provided the most services to Lefke."
Üstel also announced the construction of a new tennis court in Lefke, underlining his government's support for youth and sports. He concluded his speech by reiterating his goal: "Target 2027... No stopping, continued service."
