Tragic Accident on Akdoğan-Vadili Main Road: Burak Sefa Ürüm Loses His Life
A tragic accident occurred on the Akdoğan-Vadili main road, claiming the life of Burak Sefa Ürüm. According to information from the Police Press Office, the accident took place on September 15, 2024, at around 8:00 p.m.
Burak Sefa Ürüm (32) was driving his vehicle with license plate FB 950 towards Vadili when he lost control of the steering wheel due to inattention and crossed into the opposite lane.
At that moment, his car collided head-on with a vehicle driven by İsmail Kaya (45), with license plate HT 944, coming from the opposite direction.
Despite being rushed to Gazimağusa State Hospital, Burak Sefa Ürüm succumbed to his injuries, and all attempts to save him were unsuccessful.
The other driver, İsmail Kaya, along with passengers Ayşe Bayır Kaya (44) and Mustafa Efe Kaya (9), were also injured and are receiving treatment at Gazimağusa State Hospital.
The police have confirmed that an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
