12 Fires and 32 Special Service Incidents Reported in One Week

A total of 12 fires and 32 special service incidents occurred over the past week, according to a report by the Police General Directorate.

The fires, which caused damages amounting to 3,593 TL, were attributed to causes such as electrical short circuits, fires started for cleaning purposes that spread to dry grass, overheating, fuel leaks in vehicles, improperly extinguished cigarette butts, and traffic accidents leading to vehicle fires.

The special service incidents included rescuing individuals trapped in wells, on balconies, or inside vehicles, providing fire safety training, ensuring road safety, taking precautions against fires, performing special duties, rescuing cats stuck in trees or vehicle engines, and transporting deceased individuals to hospitals for judicial investigation purposes.
