In an interview with Politis radio, Letimbiotis emphasized that Christodoulides reaffirmed his acceptance of these gains as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts.

Politis newspaper reported under the headline "President Accepts Gains, Including Guterres Framework" that the Greek Cypriot administration expects the expanded five-party talks, as well as a meeting between President Christodoulides and TRNC President Ersin Tatar concerning new crossing points, to take place before the end of the year.

Letimbiotis underscored that the administration is pushing for these discussions to occur as soon as possible. He also clarified that there are no plans for a preliminary quadrilateral meeting (between Greece, Turkey, and both sides) ahead of the five-party talks, which would include the three guarantor states.

Regarding the Christodoulides-Tatar meeting, Letimbiotis suggested that the UN Secretary-General's agreement to the meeting indicates his belief that progress could be made. When asked whether Christodoulides accepted the Guterres Framework as is, Letimbiotis responded that the goal is to resume negotiations from where they left off at Crans-Montana, preserving the gains achieved, including the Guterres Framework.
