Iranian Individual with Red Notices Declared Prohibited Immigrant

The Council of Ministers also declared Reza Tehranchi, an Iranian national born on June 21, 1989, a prohibited immigrant. Tehranchi is sought by Interpol Iran and Interpol Armenia under two separate Red Notices for "fraud."

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the measure was taken based on security reports and a recommendation from Turkey’s Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Security. The decision cited Article 6(1)(g) of Chapter 105 of the Aliens and Immigration Law, which allows for such measures in cases where an individual's actions threaten public order, administrative order, or general morality, or pose risks of inciting hostility among citizens or undermining state authority.

The Council determined that Tehranchi's presence could endanger public order and declared him a prohibited immigrant accordingly.
