Under the headline “Citizens Will Feel the Change,” Christodoulides outlined revised policies to be implemented in 2025 and highlighted next steps to improve governance. He emphasized that these changes would directly impact citizens, allowing them to feel the improvements.

Christodoulides mentioned plans to attract foreign investments, revealing that he will visit the United States in April to seek new opportunities in maritime and technology sectors. He also referred to a program aimed at encouraging Cypriot scientists abroad to return to the country.

In addition, he discussed proposed tax reforms to strengthen the middle class and Cypriot-owned businesses. Reiterating his pre-election stance against forming a political party, Christodoulides affirmed his commitment to this promise.

He described 2025 as a transformative year, dedicated to the country’s digital transformation. His priorities for the year will be announced in January.

Addressing financial crimes, Christodoulides referred to the FBI team investigating potential violations of the income tax code and related offenses in Cyprus. He stressed that restoring the country’s reputation hinges on addressing these issues decisively.
