Kişmir Case Transferred to the Constitutional Court
The case of journalist Ali Kişmir, who is accused of insulting and defaming the moral character of the Security Forces Command (GKK) and facing up to 10 years in prison, has been referred to the Constitutional Court.
Judge Zehra Yalkut Bilgeç agreed with the defense attorney, Hasan Esendağlı's request to transfer the case to the Constitutional Court. The defense argued that the case violated seven different articles of the Constitution, prompting the transfer.
