CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman, who took the podium regarding the imported vehicles, stated that the use of 61 vehicles seized by the state is illegal.

"The state is committing a crime here. This wrongful practice must be stopped immediately," said Erhürman, continuing:

"There is a stolen vehicle. It has been reported to the court. The court process is not yet complete. It has not been determined whether the importer did this knowingly or if they are guilty. There is no legislation authorizing the state to use these vehicles as Official Service Vehicles. And despite being officially reported as stolen by British authorities, these vehicles are being used..."

Criticizing Finance Minister Özdemir Berova's statement about "the state's reputation," Tufan Erhürman said, "Using property that another country calls 'theft' is a disgrace."

Berova: Notification Made to Real Owners of 27 Vehicles

Responding to Erhürman, Finance Minister Özdemir Berova stated that notifications were made to the real owners of 27 vehicles given to the State Property and Material Department, and since no return request was made, proceedings were initiated for these vehicles.

Berova, caught unprepared for the discussion about the 61 vehicles, said he would share the legal information on which articles were acted upon regarding these vehicles next week.

CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman took the floor again, criticizing Berova and stating that this issue has been on the public agenda for days, saying, "You have hit rock bottom in illegality."
