Barış Sel's Trial in Fake Diploma Case Postponed to February 5
Barış Sel, who was arrested last March and released on bail to be tried later, had his trial postponed to February 5 in the ongoing fake diploma investigation at the Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTÜ).
During the investigation, initiated at KSTÜ last year, Barış Sel, who was the Famagusta Police Chief at the time, was arrested for allegedly holding a fake diploma and later released on bail. Today, Sel appeared again before the Güzelyurt District Court for the initial hearing.
The court ordered the postponement of the hearing to Wednesday, February 5, for the witnesses to be heard.
