CTP MPs discussed the Cyprus issue and the minimum wage during the General Assembly session. Toros spoke on the "Inter-Leader Dialogue Process within the Framework of Regional Developments."

Referring to developments in the region, Toros highlighted two significant events. One was the drilling activities in the fifth region during a period when the TRNC and Turkey were excluded, noting that the start of drilling activities was an important development.

Toros mentioned an agreement between South Cyprus and the USA, which lifted the US arms embargo on South Cyprus, strengthening the US military presence in the South.

"These developments concern us all very closely," said Toros, arguing that the resolution of the Cyprus issue has become more urgent than ever. He asserted that without resolving the Cyprus issue, Turkey and the TRNC cannot be part of the reshaping of the Eastern Mediterranean, regional energy, and jurisdictional areas.

Toros pointed out the importance of the informal conference, stating that it is beneficial in terms of new strategies and positions.

He noted that after developments in Syria, the US decided to suppress the influence of Russia and China in the region and aimed to form alliances. One of the goals of this objective is to reduce the influence and power of Russia and China in Cyprus and regional countries.

Toros stated that this situation adds a new dimension to the issue, making the resolution more complex.

He emphasized that the appointment of Rosemary DiCarlo, the UN Secretary-General's Deputy for Political Affairs, is a detail that all parties should seriously consider.
