During the court session, the police testified that Tüfekçi was charged with inciting the preparation of a false document, producing and circulating counterfeit documents, and circulating invalid or expired documents. The police stated that Tüfekçi declared the income from 12 properties sold in 2017 to the Income and Tax Department in 2022 to participate in the Central Tenders Commission's tender for the New Central Building. Additionally, Tüfekçi obtained a "No Debt" certificate to participate in the tender on behalf of his company and submitted this document to the Central Tenders Commission, although subsequent documents revealed a tax debt of 31 million TL.

The police also mentioned that Tüfekçi knowingly circulated the "No Debt" certificate despite having outstanding debt, thus violating public procurement laws. Regarding the investigation's status, the police disclosed that 15 statements had been taken, Tüfekçi had provided a confession, many documents had been collected as evidence, and approximately 20 more statements would be taken. The police also indicated that further arrests related to the case might occur.

On the other hand, Tüfekçi's lawyer rejected the police's request for two days of detention, arguing that Tüfekçi was owed money by the state and that the tax declarations in question fell under the "Repentance Law" and declaration correction. The court ruled that Tüfekçi would be held in police custody for two days for investigation purposes.
