After the Central Tenders Commission (MİK) announced that Tosunoğlu Construction had won the tender, another construction company participating in the tender lodged a complaint with the Financial Police, alleging irregularities in the financial statements of the companies involved. The Financial Police, upon examining the tender files obtained from MİK, initiated proceedings against the directors of the two companies.

Allegations in the Investigation:

Tüfekçi Construction:

  • Hüseyin Tüfekçi obtained a "no tax debt" certificate to participate in the tender and included it in the tender file.

  • Later, he declared additional income to the Tax Office and paid a penalty, subsequently altering his financial statement.

  • He added the new financial statement to the tender file but did not remove the "no tax debt" certificate, which is alleged to be an irregularity.

Tosunoğlu Construction:

  • The company allegedly showed a sale made through another company it owned as if it were made by Tosunoğlu Construction.

  • This income was reflected in the tender file, allegedly inflating the financial statement.
