In his message on the second anniversary of the earthquake, Üstel said, "Our pain is indescribable, our longing is endless. We will not be silent or step back until justice is served."

Prime Minister Üstel also added:

"In the catastrophe of the century, we lost our brothers and sisters in the Republic of Turkey, our children who are the light of our future, our offspring, and our hopes. The loss of our children, youth, teachers, and parents who were trapped under the rubble of the İsias Hotel in Adıyaman has deeply wounded all of us. Our pain is indescribable, our longing is endless. Today, we not only remember them but also reiterate our quest for justice. Our Champion Angels will never be forgotten! We will not be silent or step back until justice is served for them! We will never forget you. It is our duty to keep your names alive and carry your memories for generations. You will always live in our hearts, in sports halls, in schools. In every championship, in every victory, we will remember you and fight for you."

"We Will Not Give Up This Struggle"

Supporting the families in his message, Prime Minister Üstel continued:

"Your pain is also our pain. Your cry is our cry. We promise; we will not give up this struggle with you until justice is served. Today, while we commemorate our Champion Angels with mercy, love, and longing, we reiterate once again... They were not just athletes but also heroes. It is the duty of all of us, government and opposition, to keep their memory alive and ensure they are not forgotten. On the second anniversary of the earthquake disaster, I wish mercy from Allah to all our citizens who lost their lives, and patience to everyone who carries this great pain in their hearts. May their souls rest in peace, they will always live in our hearts."
