A memorial ceremony was held at the Champion Angels Martyrs' Cemetery in Famagusta. Speaking at the ceremony, President Ersin Tatar emphasized that the Isias Case is a common cause and stated that they would continue to support the pursuit of justice.

President Tatar, addressing the attendees, noted that the two-year-long pain has been heartbreaking, saying, "We will neither forget nor be forgotten. Two years ago, over 50,000 of our people, including our Champion Angels, lost their lives in the earthquake in our motherland Turkey. The Turkish Cypriot community has suffered a great tragedy."
Emphasizing that the Isias Case is a shared cause, President Tatar affirmed their continued support for the families throughout the process. He reiterated that necessary support would be provided to ensure justice is served and those responsible are held accountable.
President Tatar also highlighted the measures taken to prevent similar tragedies in the future and commemorated those who lost their lives in the fire in Bolu, extending his condolences to the nation.
Following President Tatar’s speech, the ceremony continued with prayers.
