Fileleftheros reported under the headline "Announced the Date, Then Disappeared" that Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar had previously stated he would meet with President Nikos Christodoulides to discuss the issue of crossing points. The meeting was expected to take place before UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo's visit.

According to the newspaper, Tatar had indicated that the meeting would occur either today or tomorrow. However, as of now, the only confirmed event is DiCarlo's arrival in Cyprus on Monday.
The report also claimed that the Turkish side was engaging in a "bizarre game of hide and seek" to avoid a leaders’ meeting. It noted that UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Cyprus, Colin Stewart, had attempted last Friday to arrange a meeting between the two leaders but was unsuccessful.
Given this, attention is now focused on DiCarlo’s meetings on Monday.
Parliament to Discuss Cyprus Issue
Meanwhile, Alithia reported that the Cyprus issue will be on the agenda of the House of Representatives on February 27.
According to the report, the discussion was added to the agenda at the request of DIKO MP Pavlos Milonas.
