DiCarlo: "We Had a Productive Meeting with Tatar"
The meeting between President Ersin Tatar and UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, has concluded.
Following the one-and-a-half-hour meeting at the Presidential Palace, both DiCarlo and President Tatar made statements to the press.
"We Discussed the Upcoming Comprehensive Meeting"
In her brief statement, DiCarlo said they discussed the comprehensive meeting scheduled for next month and the topics that will be addressed. She described the meeting as productive and noted that she had a good conversation with Tatar.
DiCarlo also mentioned that she would be meeting with Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides later in the day.
"This is my second visit to the island, and I am very pleased to be here," DiCarlo stated, adding that she would also meet with the Bicommunal Cyprus Women’s Coalition and other representatives throughout the day.
