According to police reports, the first fire occurred at noon in a single-room residence on Karaca Street in Kyrenia. The fire was likely caused by an electrical short circuit, resulting in damage to certain belongings.

The second fire broke out in the evening in a bedroom of an apartment on the LAÜ Road in Gemikonağı. It is believed that a hairdryer left plugged in caused the short circuit, leading to the fire.

Both fires were successfully put out by the fire department.
