Stelios Bi-communal Cooperation Awards Deadline Extended

The winners will receive their awards on April 11, 2025. Due to increased interest, the deadline extension will allow more Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs to participate in this bi-communal initiative. Celebrating its 15th year, the awards continue to promote cooperation between entrepreneurs from both communities.

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder and owner of Easy brands (www.easy.com & www.easyHistory.info) and founder and chairman of the Stelios Foundation (www.steliosfoundation.com.cy), will once again reward bi-communal entrepreneurship. This year, the total award fund has been increased to €410,000, supporting 20 Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs.

Since the program's launch in 2009, the total prize amount awarded has now reached €4.8 million, including this year's fund.

The Award Ceremony will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Stelios Foundation Centre in Nicosia (Markou Drakou Street No: 5, Nicosia). The winning entrepreneurs will receive their awards from Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou. The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, will also attend as an honorary guest.

Competition Format and Prizes

This year's competition will focus solely on collaborative projects between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs. The new prize structure is as follows:

A total of 10 winning bi-communal cooperation teams will share €410,000:

• Gold Award: €100,000 (Each entrepreneur receives €50,000)
• Two Silver Awards: €50,000 (Each entrepreneur receives €25,000)
• Seven Bronze Awards: €30,000 (Each entrepreneur receives €15,000)

The application deadline is Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Interested teams should download the application form from the Stelios Foundation website (www.steliosfoundation.com.cy) and send it by email to marios.missirlis@stelios.com.
