Hunting Federation Reacts to Donkey Massacre: Perpetrators Must Be Punished
Tahir Saygıner, President of the Hunting Federation, reacted strongly to the donkey massacre in Karpaz, stating that those responsible for the atrocity should be found and punished. He also expressed the Federation's willingness to cooperate in the investigation.
Speaking to Kıbrıs Postası, Saygıner emphasized that the Hunting Federation is ready to collaborate and stressed, “Anyone who takes a weapon and commits such an atrocity cannot be part of the Hunting Federation.”
He further stated that if it turns out that any member of the Hunting Federation is involved in the massacre, their licenses would be revoked, and all necessary measures would be taken. Saygıner highlighted that the hunting community is highly sensitive to such issues.
