Three Suspects Arrested for Stealing Alcohol Worth 79,000 TL
Three suspects have been arrested for stealing alcoholic beverages worth 79,187.39 TL from supermarkets in Nicosia and Demirhan. A police search of their residences led to the recovery of 51 stolen bottles of alcohol along with other stolen goods.
According to the Police Press Office, the thefts occurred on February 20-21, 2025, when unidentified individuals stole a total of 79,187.39 TL worth of alcoholic beverages from two supermarkets operating in Nicosia and Demirhan.
Following an investigation, suspects A.Ö. (43), E.D. (19), and Y.A. (18) were identified and taken into custody. During a search of their residences in Kyrenia, police recovered 51 bottles of stolen alcohol, 49 packs of chocolate, and various personal care products.
The investigation is ongoing.
