Five Arrested for Smuggling Seven People into TRNC in a Truck Trailer
At Kyrenia Tourism Port, five human traffickers were arrested for attempting to smuggle seven individuals into Northern Cyprus inside a truck trailer.
According to the Police Bulletin, a truck arriving at Kyrenia Tourism Port was found to be carrying seven foreign nationals hidden inside its trailer, attempting to enter the TRNC illegally.
Following an in-depth investigation, K.S. (M-61), M.K. (M-48), K.M. (M-37), H.U. (M-32), and H.B. (M-46) were identified as having facilitated the illegal entry of these individuals in exchange for financial gain. All five suspects have been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
