Stormy Winds Expected Across the Island

The Meteorology Department has issued a warning for stormy winds, expected to reach speeds of 50-61 km/h. Strong winds are anticipated both on land and at sea, with increasing intensity.

According to the department, winds from the north and east will strengthen over time, reaching stormy levels until 18:00 this evening.
Two separate alerts have been issued, highlighting the expectation of stormy winds.
On land, winds from the north and east will gradually intensify, while in the region’s waters, particularly in the East Taurus and Crusade areas, winds are forecasted to reach force 7 on the Beaufort scale, creating stormy conditions.
