During the hearing, police officer Ozan Özder presented the details of the case. He stated that on the night of March 11, 2025, at around 9:45 PM, a team from the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Directorate conducted an operation on Şht. Mustafa Ahmet Ruso Avenue in Nicosia. During the operation, officers stopped a vehicle with license plate UZ 558, driven by A.F.A., with F.D. as a passenger.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found approximately 21 grams of methamphetamine, 6 grams of cocaine, six drug-laced pills, 1.5 grams of cannabis, and a yellow plastic grinder containing around 100 milligrams of cannabis. Additionally, €500 and 5,000 TL in cash were seized as evidence.

The suspects were arrested on the spot, and an investigation was launched. The police officer informed the court that statements still needed to be collected and the seized substances would be sent for analysis. He requested a two-day extension for the suspects' detention.

Judge Nuray Necdet reviewed the evidence and granted the request, ordering the suspects to remain in custody for an additional two days.
