Speaking on the "Sabah Postası" program on Kıbrıs Postası TV, Hasipoğlu emphasized the objectivity of Kofi Annan's report.

Reflecting on the events of 2004, Hasipoğlu highlighted the widespread opinions on the Annan Plan and recalled Günter Verheugen's statement accusing the Greeks of deception. He expressed disappointment at the Greek Cypriot side's actions, asserting that they were rewarded despite their refusal to cooperate.

Hasipoğlu also defended UBP's stance during 2010-2015, refuting claims that the party opposed a solution. He stated that UBP had engaged in discussions on a federation for five years, countering allegations of non-cooperation.
